Many Godzilla fans and Action Figure Collectors are interested in collecting the wide range of Godzilla merchandise that is available.

Companies such as Bandai and Marmit produce numerous Godzilla product lines, all of which are likely to gain value in years to come.

The importance of Action Figures and Movie merchandise was highlighted in the 1998 Hollywood version of Godzilla. The search for profitbale spin off products actually influenced the production of the film. Steven Gaydos, executive editor of industry publication Variety in London said ..

“Godzilla showed how early merchandising kicks in and how it even helped create the script,”

The 1998 film was ultimately dubbed a failure grossing $350 million (Much of it from Godzilla Action Figures and other Merchandise).
